California files a lawsuit against Microsoft over the Xbox 360 Red Lights of Death
Microsoft Xbox 360 console has been one of the top three best selling gaming consoles of this generation. However, it is also known to be the one with the highest defect rate, which has lead to the least games purchased. One of the major problems affecting the console is the Xbox 360 Red Lights which requires a replacement in some cases.

The State of California has now filed a lawsuit against the software conglomerate claiming that the company knowingly manufactured faulty Xbox 360 consoles and sold them in the market to get the time advantage against their rivals Sony and Nintendo.

As a result, they had a one year advantage over the other two consoles Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3. The lawsuit claims that the failure rate of the consoles at one time used to be around 65% which is much more than the industry norm 3%.

Microsoft Xbox 360 November 3rd, 2008

If you have an Xbox 360 with the 3 red lights then you can of course ring Microsoft customer support and they will arrange to pick it up for you and fix it. The only downside with this is the amount of time waiting with most Xbox 360 Repairs taking about 6 weeks.

So there has been a surge of Xbox 360 3 Red Lights fix guides out on the web and this article will tell you a bit more about them and whether or not they really work.
The reason that the Xbox 360 3 Red Lights happens is because of the build up of heat on the GPU and the CPU and as the chips take more of a hammering they eventually burn out and that is when you will see the 3 red lights flash up when you turn on the console.

You can see through the link below all the technical reasons if you are interested in that but for now we will talk about whether or not these Xbox 360 Repair guides really do the job so you can get on with fixing the Xbox 360 3 Red Lights error.
Well the truth is that these Xbox 360 Repair guides do work but you must make sure you get a good one that has a full guarantee, a video preview and also proven to work as well.

One of the things that really made his Guide stand out was the neat, clean cut organization of his high definition videos, “the videos were super sharp, detailed to the fullest!”

Xbox 360 Red Light Fix

Second Best
"The guides definitely awesome, it completely over delivered."

The Xbox360RedLightFix.com guide was pretty easy, but not the best. The guide did take me step by step, but through it I had to think a little to make sure we were on the same page. The diagrams on the guide were a big part of the points because they took guessing out of the process. The customer service they provided was on top of their game, I had a few questions to ask and I got my answer almost instantly.

"Thanks for the heads up. My boys and I were back on track as soon as we fixed the Xbox, the tutorials sucked but after a few days we were able to fire it up!"

Three Red Light Fix

Third Overall
"The guides okay, but took some time to figure out if we were on the same page."

The Three Red Light Fix?

It was not the best, but it does work.

Their guide was not what really what I had in mind. The promised detailed were small a** 300 X 250 windows that had the camera so far away all I could see was a body dismantling the 360, I didn’t get the zoom videos. I also did not like the annoying pop-up that locks you to the page until; there sure you want to leave. When I click leave, I normally want to leave.

"This guide was hard to understand, there were a few things they weren't clear about, but through the hassle I got it fixed"
